Heath Tyre services formed in 1966 by Derek Evans, selling and repairing tyres. From 1987 Mike and Andrew joined the family business so they expanded their services and began servicing and repair of vehicles. We as a company grew larger and started to take on more staff, which in turn allowed us to carry out more work and become what we are now.
Mike made the decision to leave the family business and follow his own dreams and parted company in 2015 with 28 years under his belt. With Derek semi-retired, the company’s responsibilities fell to Andrew.
From 2017, Andrew took over the company as managing director which allowed Derek to finally hang up his boots and take full retirement and deservedly put his feet up and relax after a long stint working and building his business from scratch.
Heath Tyres Auto Centre is now run by Andrew and his son Alex working with them as the third generation of the family to continue way into the future and beyond.
Here at heath tyres we have 11 team members with several having 35+ years of experience in the motor trade and, some of our staff have been with us for over 20 years.
Also, we have the pleasure of employing Andrew Williams, suffering from down syndrome, he’s been working for the company since 1995 working on a part-time basis, coming in to lend a hand and help out in the workshop wherever he can, which allows him to work and be part of a team.
